Intro

Hi, I'm Greg.

Hi, I'm Greg.

I’m the General Manager, Europe overseeing our EMEA market for Splash, a Series C event marketing tech that provides a solution for scaled in-person and virtual programs.

I'm attending SaaStr to meet with our customers that our activating at the conference, to network with potential prospects & partners, and to learn from the great thought leaders SaaStr brings together.

What to expect

Before your interview, you’ll meet with the recruiter in a pre-brief meeting to go over what you should expect for each section of your upcoming virtual onsite. This pre-brief meeting is a great opportunity for you to ask any questions that will help you feel fully prepared for your upcoming interview.

Dream Connection

I would love to meet marketing leaders for whom field events are a key part of their strategy.

About Splash

Our customers are primarily MM & Enterprise B2B companies with powerful branding: Salesforce, Meta, PwC, Booking, Adobe, Outreach, Zendesk, Gainsight, Twitter, TikTok, etc.

We wouldn’t ever power a conference like Salesforce’s Dreamforce (or even SaaStr). But rather companies like Salesforce use us for their dozens, hundreds, and even thousands of global field marketing events, sales-led VIP dinners, lunch n learns, community, even recruiting and internal gatherings.

Where IRL matters, getting the right people in the room is key, branding & compliance are difficult bc of the scale, and ROI measurement is critical.

Should We Connect?

My dream connection would be a marketing leader who cares a lot about design, prioritizes field marketing to drive revenue, and loves using data to scale.

Splash Value

We wouldn’t ever power a conference like Salesforce’s Dreamforce (or even SaaStr). But rather Salesforce uses us for their dozens, hundreds, and even thousands of global field marketing events, sales-led VIP dinners, lunch n learns, community, even recruiting and internal gatherings.

Where IRL matters, getting the right people in the room is key, branding & compliance are difficult bc of the scale, and ROI measurement is critical.

What to expect

For your upcoming virtual onsite interview, you will be asked to do a sales role play for the interview team. The details for the role play has been shared with you in an email. If you have any questions regarding either your presentation or overall virtual onsite interview, feel free to message us and we'd be happy to help!

What to expect

Your upcoming virtual onsite interview will consist of a series of meetings with members of the Splash team. These interviews will simply be conversational meetings for the team to get to know you better and for you to learn more about Splash and the team members you’d be working with.

Schedule

Friday, April 1st, 2022

- 12:00pm-1:00pm EDT: Interviewers: Alexa Battista, Arjun Sathe (Mock Presentation)
- 1:00pm-1:15pm EDT: Interviewer: Nicole Samuels (Recruiter Debrief)

Should We Connect?

Hi, I'm Greg.

Hi, I'm Greg.

I’m the General Manager, Europe overseeing our EMEA market for Splash, a Series C event marketing tech that provides a solution for scaled in-person and virtual programs -- where design & branding matter.

I'm attending SaaStr to meet with our customers that our activating at the conference, to network with potential prospects & partners, and to learn from the great thought leaders SaaStr brings together.

Partners

If your solution or skillset touches any aspect of in-person, virtual, or hybrid events, or if you're a MarTech whose offering compliments experiences, let's chat.

Networking

Would love to connect with revenue leaders who are expanding their US business to EMEA, scaling in the $30M - $100M ARR range, or are growing a SaaS business in EMEA.

About the Team

What does the Engineering Team do?

The Engineering Team is broken up into 9 teams:

API

The API team ensures the Splash public API being sold to customers provides the ability to customize various dimensions of the product functionality to enable more business possibilities. These publicly available API endpoints will send and receive data between Splash and third-party systems in a scalable, secure, reliable, and extensible manner.

Data Science

Their mission is to enable internal Splash teams and external Splash users to make informed decisions through data & insights.

Design Tools

The Design Tools team focuses on creating and improving the tools that allow event organizers design beautiful event landing pages, emails, and social cards.

Infrastructure

Their mission is to provide a foundation that is reliable, scalable, extensible, and secure to run all Splash’s software. This resilient underlying system should multiply developer productivity and enable them to build and operate applications seamlessly without intervention by the infrastructure team, allowing the developer to focus on the Splash product rather than how the software is actively managed.

Org. Enablement

The Org Enablement team is responsible for top-level organization management in Splash and similar things. The full list of Jira components maintained by this team is: integrations, Enterprise Management, Event Settings, Organization Management, Event Dashboard, Account Settings, and RBAC.

Program Admin

This team is focused on the maintenance and stability of the components the team owns. From a product perspective, the Virtual Event experience is the biggest focus for the Program Admin team.

QA

Their mission is to help the greater engineering team achieve quality excellence by building a robust test infrastructure, writing critical regression tests, and growing an agile testing culture wherein quality is everyone’s responsibility. They work with the CS and Product teams to make sure SLA’s are aligned and adhered to roll out new processes/tests in response to their feedback.

Rearchitects

Their mission is to drive the breakdown and re-architecture of our Duoliths into powerful, isolated, and independently deployable services modeled around business domains.
